Hello, my friends! Thank you for joining me in Malaysia! What an adventure it’s been! Over the past few months, we’ve traveled so far and learned so much. We’ve sampled and conducted sea turtle conservation at the Chagar Hutang sea turtle sanctuary, released hatchlings into the ocean to begin their lives aquatic and studied fungi infecting sea turtle nest sites both in the field and lab. We've ridden boats, trains and cars, but mostly bikes through Kuala Terengganu. We've met beautiful wildlife, including green and hawksbill sea turtles, hermit crabs, ghost crabs, monitor lizards, cats and citvit cats, just to name a few. We've avoided monsoons! We've eaten kurma, nasi ayam (chicken rice) and even wild passion fruits. We've learned about the importance of marine conservation and met some wonderful students taking action to educate and empower others to think proactively about how to engage with the environment so as to minimize the carbon footprint. What a wonderful journey it has been--I’m so glad I was able to share it with you!

Although our journey in Malaysia is coming to a close, the journey is not over--your journeys are just beginning! Where do you want to go? With determination, a destination and loving support, you can reach the world!
