Traveler Bio

Hi, I am Asma Alkrizy and I'm 24 years old. I graduated from the University of California-Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I live in the Bay Area, but most of my childhood happened in Fresno. For as long as I can remember, I've always loved teaching and education. This is why I chose to study English, and continue my studies to become an English teacher.

This year I decided to try something different by studying abroad. Due to Covid-19, though, many of the study abroad programs offers at my campus were virtual. I joined the People and Friends Global Entrepreneurship program, a global business program that trains people to understand global start-up ecosystems. Using a VR headset, I embarked on virtual tours in Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the U.S. I also participated in virtual meetings with managers from global companies and start-ups. I can't wait to share this global experience with you!
