Looking back at who I was when I was a child in Missouri, U.S.A, I can’t even imagine that I thought just leaving my homestate would be a challenge. I have now been able to leave the country entirely and go on wacky adventures in a city I would’ve never even thought of in my hometown. I have been able to see different cultures and realize that although there are stark contrasts between places, there is also a lot of global overlap. I’m excited to continue my journey here in Amman, Jordan to learn more through my (now-online) classes and to bring you all along as well.
