¡Hola, todos! Hello!
My name is Norah Walsh, and I am a junior in college at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I study Spanish and philosophy, so a lot of my homework consists of reading and writing both in Spanish and English. I am originally from Richmond, Virginia, and I love to read, swim, and learn languages.
I came to Bilbao, Spain this summer to study at the University of Deusto, and I stayed here for my fall semester, too! I took three classes over the summer, and I am now taking four classes during the fall semester. I live with a woman in her house, and she doesn't speak any English, so it has been a great opportunity for me to get better at speaking Spanish.
The reason I came to Spain was to improve my Spanish. I've been taking Spanish since third grade, and although it was really hard at first, it got much easier as I continued studying. Now, I am able to have full, interesting conversations with people and write entire essays in Spanish.
I love living in Spain, and I'm so excited to share my journey with all of you!
