I also got to listen to some street performers playing violin and guitar as I walked down Hlavná (the main street).
This week I went for a picnic with the English Language Club here in Košice. The club consists of both natives looking to practice their English and foreigners wanting to meet other English speakers. It was fun to hear where everyone was from and what brought them to Košice.
This week I finished reading "Everything, Everything" by Nicola Yoon about a girl who is allergic to the world so can never leave her house.
I did not play any sports this week, but I do often go to a fitness center to exercise. Here bodybuilding is popular, so it was difficult to find a gym that could offer me a treadmill.
This week I finished receiving the list of classes I will be teaching while I am here. I have 1 class of 6th grade English conversation, 2 classes of 7th grade English conversation, 2 classes of 8th grade English conversation, 2 classes of Freshman/Sophomore English conversation, 6 classes of Junion/Senior Global Studies and 1 class of English drama.
