Hi! My name is Shantal Perez Vasquez, and you can call me Shanti if you'd like! I was born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, and raised in Philadelphia, Pennslyvania. I am 21 years old, and I turn 22 on April 28th. I love the beach, going out to eat, and hanging out with friends. I an a college student at Drexel University, where I study technology innovation management and marketing. I was lucky enough to receive the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which has helped fund my trip to Japan and Thailand. I have never been to Asia and I haven't been exposed to the Asian culture. Therefore, I am very excited to embark on this journey. Together, we'll learn a lot and have a great adventure!
