Traveler Bio

Kia ora (Greetings)! My name is Phoenix, and I'm thrilled to share my journey with you. At 20 years old, I come from New York, a place filled with bustling streets and diverse communities.

I'm currently a junior at Arcadia University, studying politics. My passion for understanding global issues and fostering cultural awareness has led me to embark on a semester abroad in Dunedin, New Zealand. I was fortunate enough to win the prestigious Gilman Scholarship, which has enabled me to pursue my studies at Otago University, renowned for its excellence in political studies.

Now, I find myself in Dunedin, a charming city nestled on the southeastern coast of New Zealand's South Island. With its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cultural scene, Dunedin offers an ideal backdrop for my academic and personal growth. As I explore the winding streets lined with Victorian architecture and immerse myself in the dynamic atmosphere of Otago University, I'm excited to delve into the unique perspectives and experiences that this region has to offer.

I can't wait to share my adventures with you all and hear about your own journeys through the school year!
