Traveler Bio

Hello! My name is Elizabeth. I’m a 23-year-old Rutgers University graduate with B.A. degrees in Spanish and political science. Not too long ago, I also became a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant grantee. I’ve always had ambitions of traveling the world, so living in Barranquilla, Colombia on a Fulbright grant, to me, is a dream come true! Experience Barranquilla, Colombia through my eyes as I try the local cuisine, see regional festivals and dances, learn costeñol (a distinct way of speaking Spanish and using unique expressions typical in the coastal region of Colombia) and volunteer in areas to where many Venezuelan refugees are fleeing.
