Traveler Bio

Hi there, friends! My name is Erica, and I'm here to tell you about my exciting adventures! I live in a place called Leipzig, which is in Germany. I work in a dental lab where we study something really cool—teeth! I get to learn all about how braces work. Some of you might even have braces right now! Braces can make your teeth and gums healthy and strong, just like when we brush our teeth twice a day.

I used to live in a part of the United States called South Dakota, right in the middle of the country. It's a place where we have super hot summers and really chilly winters, just like they do in Germany. When I'm not busy with teeth, I love to read books, stay active, and have fun with my family and friends. Back when I was in college, I was what they call a "pre-dental student." That means I was learning all the cool stuff I need to know to become a dentist someday. I took fun science classes where we did cool experiments, used tiny microscopes, and even looked closely at teeth. I loved it so much that I decided to join the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. That way, I could move all the way to Germany and keep learning about teeth.

Will you join me on my epic adventure in Germany? By following me, you'll experience German culture as I experience it every day, and you'll no-doubt learn a bit about teeth along the way, too!
