I arrived in Paris on August 25th, and almost exactly four months later, I am flying home to North Carolina. The changing of the seasons in Paris was an amazing sight, and I am greatly looking forward to returning in January to continue my studies. I didn't get to experience much warm weather here, since France gets very cold and rainy quickly, so the spring will be very enjoyable. However, Christmastime in Paris is a unique experience that I am glad I was able to share with all of you.

I was even able to visit Disneyland Paris, which was a festive blend of classic Disney, French culture, and the holiday season! Instead of churros, the park had crepes. I even ate a Mickey-shaped beignet (a classic French dessert). The Christmas parade at the end of the night was a mix of French and English, which is very similar to my overall experience here in Paris. I found a lot of Parisian Disney gifts for my family that I will be taking home for the holidays, and was sad to leave the park but happy to return to the city of Paris.

What I am most looking forward to after my trip is telling my friends and family all about what I learned during my time in France, both in my classes and in my time exploring the area.
