Hola! Hello! My name is Gayle Streeter and I am 21 years old. I am a senior studying English at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (A&T). I am originally from the city of water ice and cheesesteaks: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This past spring, I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain! I chose to study abroad because only about 6% of Black students study abroad. I wanted to help change that percentage! During my time abroad, I developed a deeper appreciation for different cultures, made new friends, and improved my Spanish. I hope that this experience helps you think about traveling to new places and going on an overseas adventure of your own!
