I do my homework.

Most Timorese teachers don't assign homework, but since I teach Febri's class, she gets homework from me. She is one of the few students who always does her assignments. It's a new concept so there isn't even a word for homework in Tetun; we use the Portuguese "Trabalho Para Casa" and shorten it to TPC.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

After school, I like to study and play with my friends. My favorite sport is volleyball. Sometimes we play on Saturdays at school.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

My favorite famous person is Maria Vitória. I also like Crimson.

Maria Vitória is a Timorese singer who won The Voice Portugal in 2018. All Timorese can apply for Portuguese passports because Timor Leste was a Portuguese Colony, so she was able to compete. I don't know who Crimson is, do you?

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I usually listen to Timorese music. I like male and female artists.

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

When I grow up, I would like to be a midwife.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

I would like to visit Australia to see its beautiful clean beaches.

What do you know or think about the United States?:

I know America is cold and has snow! They also make the money we use in Timor and America is a rich country. I also know it is very big and far away.

Can you guess how much bigger America is than Timor?
