My friends and I went to sing karaoke this Wednesday. It was so fun! We met so many other study abroad students studying through different programs. My friends Zack, Lucas, Mali, Adina, and I sang "Shut Up and Dance" by WALK THE MOON.
I've been reading a book, titled 11/22/63, by Stephen King. It is over 1,000 pages, and I am just around halfway done! The book is a time travel science-fiction novel based on the JFK assassination. In the book, the main character is tasked with going back in time to prevent the JFK assassination from happening. It is super interesting!
While I personally did not play any sports or games this week, I did travel to Milan for the Olympics! My friends Jack, Anthony, Allison, and I went to watch the men's 5000m speed skating event. We watched a new Olympic record get set, and it was awesome!
I've met a lot of people from all over the United States while in Italy! I have met people from: Hawaii, California, Michigan, Tennessee, New York, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Massachusetts, etc. It's really cool to meet many new faces, and share the same study abroad experience in Florence with people from differing backgrounds.
