I have spent the whole time in Ahmedabad this week, but I did a lot of walking around the city to see its sites!
I had to take an 11-hour flight from New York to Doha, Qatar. Then I took another three-hour flight from Doha to Ahmedabad. It was a lot of time sitting on a plane, but thankfully I was able to get a lot of sleep!
I usually walked or used auto-rickshaws to commute around the city. Auto-rickshaws are small vehicles that hold three passengers and are about half the size of a normal car. They also have open sides and no doors.
The most interesting place I visited this week was a theater. At the theater I was able to see a musical on the history of Ahmedabad. Did you know the famous Mahatma Gandhi lived in Ahmedabad for many years?
I was able to learn some Hindi! To say hello in Hindi you say "Namaste."
