There are people known as "Rangers", who are similar to police. They walk around the city and, if they see you throw any garbage on the ground, you get a very expensive ticket.
The need for garbage disposal will always exist and Australians have mastered this need compared to Americans. We can learn from this example and think more about what we throw into the trash. If it is plastic, like a bottle, or cardboard from a box, it should be recycled instead of thrown in the trash. This is common for Australians because they have grown up with recycling and composting so they have much less trash production. We can and should all try to be more like them.
