Back home, I mostly drive everywhere. However, I quickly adapted to the buses and trains in Australia. It was fun to learn about their transport system. Now, I consider myself to be very knowledgeable with the times and stations of the trains and buses. They are a part of my everyday life here in Sydney.
This way of getting around is connected to the environment as Sydney is a very public transport-positive city! This fact allows Sydney to be relatively clean, as many people choose public transport as their main option. It is therefore a lot more common than driving. But people still definitely use their cars to get around!
