A Look into the Life of My Friend Sudin

Maybe in the future I will wear traditional clothing again, like daura (Nepalese men’s shirts) and suruwal (pants).

What do you like to do in your free time?:

I really like traveling and learning about lifestyles of people. I also really like hanging out with my friends.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Nepali and English. I learned English in school, and now I use it often because I meet a lot of travelers. Namaste is hello in Nepali.

Do you have pets?:

I have a cat. Her name is Kanchhi. Eventually, I also really want to have a dog. 

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

I have traveled to Illam in eastern Nepal, as well as all of the east of Nepal. I have also traveled to the mountains in Nepal, including Annapurna Base Camp.

What do you do for work?:

I am a student at Pokhara University, studying mountaineering. During my free time, I work as a tour guide.

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

I heard that in the United States, people are very stressed. I want to say that you should be happy and live your dreams. Come visit me in Nepal!
