Irish dance is not even that popular in the United States (though arguably moreso than in Singapore), so being in Singapore makes it even more of a challenge to keep the group alive and spread its popularity.
Every now and then, something will happen to make the Irish dance team more popular. Saint Patrick’s Day is, naturally, a yearly event that helps this team and allows them to perform in many different locations in Singapore. The team also gains popularity with the support of friends and family. People like me, who just happen to know a group member, are reasons this team can stay alive and begin to spread in Singapore.
