As we approach the end of our journey together, I encourage each of you to find spaces for change, growth and reflection in your coming years. Be curious; be open; and seek adventure wherever you go after high school, whether that’s going to college, into the workforce, starting a family or taking a gap year to figure life out! If you are going to college, find your study abroad office and ask about what opportunities they are offering. There are so many scholarships, grants and programs, such as Fulbright and Peace Corps, that provide opportunities to see the world. North Carolina will always be the place I call home, but I am so grateful for the experiences I have had abroad that have given me new ways to experience different cultures, people, places and food. I hope that one day you all are able to follow your own dreams, whatever those may be. Thank you all so much for joining me. That's all for now!
