Hello, everyone! My name is Christene Harris. I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but when I was still young, my family moved to Wilmington, Delaware, where I grew up. My family consists of my mom and dad, my four older brothers, my two older sisters, my two younger brothers and myself. I also have four nephews and one niece. My family is very close. We spend most Sundays together just relaxing around the house, and there are a lot of us, so there is always something to do!
I just finished my junior year of college, so next year I will be graduating. My school is located only about 45 minutes from my home, so I can visit my family often. The name of my school is The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. It is a small university, but it is historic because it was the first one founded for black and minority students that wanted to get a college education. In school, I study Computer Science, which has taught me how to make simple websites, build computers from scratch and create cool 3-D characters and animations. I also study the Spanish language. One of the main reasons that I chose to study abroad in Ecuador is because the language spoken here is Spanish. I look forward to the chance to practice speaking it in my day-to-day life.
