This week, I hiked in the hills around Marburg, but I am most excited for the sport I will be playing this upcoming week! I signed up for a weekly Handball class. Handball is a sport that is popular in Europe, but not so much back home in the U.S. It is somewhat of a mix between basketball and soccer; you have to dribble a ball that kind of looks like a volleyball and try to shoot it into nets on either side of the court.
Even though I am six hours ahead of the time back home, we also have daylight savings time here! Daylight savings happened this week, a bit earlier than in the U.S. That means just for this week I will be only five hours ahead of the eastern U.S. instead of six!
