The Life of a French Fourth-Grader

School is over at 4:30pm or 6:00pm, depending on what activities I'm participating in. Normally, I get home about 15 minutes later.

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I ride the bus to school, it takes about 15 minutes. I am not allowed to go to school by myself.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

On school days, lunch is in the canteen on the ground floor. My favorite food at school is raviolis.

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

At school, we speak French for most of our classes. Last year, I studied German and this year I'm learning English. I learned a song in English about foods this year! In French, for hello we say bonjour!

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Some of my friends are called Raphael, Gabriel, Emma, Liza and Louise. Those are the most common names.

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

We study French, English, math, German, science, history. My favorite subject in school is English.

What is your homework like?:

For homework, I usually have to do exercises related to the lessons we had that day.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

After school, I love to draw and read, especially manga! My favorite sport is ping-pong.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

My favorite famous people are Hiro Mashima from Fairytail and Eiichiro Oda from One Piece.
