My Stay At The Kyoto Brighton Hotel

However, I had saved up from working two jobs this past semester, and since it was my first day in Japan, I wanted to treat myself. For me, the experience was absolutely worth the price. If you’re a student on a tight budget, this might not be the most affordable option, but if you’re in the mood to treat yourself, then I highly recommend this hotel. 

Did the hotel have any fun or unique features?

One small but fun feature was the elevator. It had glass panels that gave me a beautiful view of the hotel’s elegant lobby as I rode up and down. The elevator's transparent exterior was a simple detail, but it really enhanced the experience.

I also enjoyed trying to figure out how to use the remote. The buttons were all in kanji. 

What type of traveler would enjoy staying at this hotel?

If you’re visiting Kyoto for a short time, I highly recommend treating yourself and staying here. It’s perfect for travelers who appreciate high-quality service, comfort and a bit of luxury.
