It almost seemed like the pigeon was teasing the cat, although it was probably just trying to find the right moment to get away. Seeing this made me pay more attention to the animals around my neighborhood. Since I walk to school regularly, I have the opportunity to observe little things like this that I might otherwise overlook. It was a simple interaction, but it was interesting to see these animals going about their daily lives in the middle of the city.
I did not see a lot of nature this week because I stayed in the city. Most of my time was spent walking around my neighborhood or going to school, so I did not get the chance to explore any parks or natural areas. However, I hope everyone enjoyed hearing the gatos in my calle. Gato means cat and calle means street in Spanish. There are plenty of stray cats in my neighborhood, so I often see them walking around or hear them while I am outside. Even though I did not get to experience much nature this week, I still found little ways to observe the environment around me.
I hope to visit some parks soon!
