I stayed local this week. In total I probably traveled a few miles.
Over the past month, I took two day trips to Paris and London. Both trips gave me the opportunity to explore two major European cities while studying abroad in Spain. They were both pretty grey and cold, which made me appreciate Sevilla's sunny weather.
Europe is extremely walkable, so almost nobody has a car. I walk everywhere, whether I am going to school, meeting up with friends, or running errands. I have noticed that walking is a normal part of everyday life here, and many places are close enough that driving is unnecessary. This is different from what I am used to back home, where people often rely on cars to get around. Living in a place where I can walk to most of the places I need to go has made me realize how much a city's layout can affect people's daily routines.
You could count my school as interesting!
