A Day in the Life

I play sports, mostly squash and basketball and sometimes hockey. I am in theater and musicals. I am writing my own play right now. I write poems and play the guitar, too. 

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

My first language is Finnish. We learn Swedish and English in school. I speak Spanish because my father is from Spain, so it is used at home. 

Do you have pets?:

No, but I have always wanted a dog. 

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

I have been to Sweden, Belgium, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Croatia, Bulgaria, Italy, the Netherlands, Canada, the United States and Morocco. 

What do you do for work?:

I am a full-time student, but during the summer I have part time jobs - really simple things like tutoring, working in a grocery store and some office work for a local paper business. 

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

Change can be scary, but you must embrace it. Things can always be worse, so think positively often. Travel as much as you can while you are young. Do not let failing discourage you from your goals
