Hi, everyone. We are at the end of the Reach the World Experience.

Before I reflect on my experience in Ecuador, I want to thank all of you and your teacher, Ms. Threatt. I am thankful for your interest in this exchange; for asking questions, being curious and for taking time out of your day to meet with me virtually. Writing articles and sharing my experiences brought back great memories. It was both therapeutic and gave me concrete pieces I can share not only with you but with people around the world. When you are living in a different country, you sometimes lose track of time and forget to journal about your adventures. First piece of advice: keep track of your travels. This can be by journaling, blogging or writing captions of photos you took. It is lovely to not only read what you wrote, but to also know that people from all over the world will be fascinated by it.

As you all know, I have been in Ecuador since January 22nd, 2024. I will remain in Ecuador until the beginning of April. I feel very lucky to have been here for more than two years serving in the Peace Corps. I've learned so much about different cultures, languages, biodiversity and customs. It's been fun meeting Ecuadorians from different parts of the country and exploring the many provinces and regions.
