While I was in college, I heard about an opportunity called the Fulbright Program, which supports people who want to do research abroad. I applied and was so excited to hear that I got it! I chose to study in Croatia to connect with my heritage and learn more about why people are moving to and from here. I will take videos and make a documentary about their stories to share them with the world. I’m excited to learn more about Croatian culture, including its language, art, food and history. I’m looking forward to sharing what I learn here with you and taking you along for the journey!
