One local name of my friend is Keneliwe. Her name means “to give.” No one has the same exact name because Setswana names can be very long and have multiple meanings.
In school, Ninie studies math, Setswana, art, English and science. Her favorite subject is math because she likes problem-solving.
Ninie's homework consists of homework sheets and writing prompts. For example, Ninie had geometry homework where she had to calculate the area of different shapes. She also had homework on algebra.
After school Ninie likes to interact with her culture and play village games with friends in her neighborhood. Ninie plays a variety of sports, but her favorite is hockey.
Ninie's favorite famous person is Jhene Aiko. Jhene Aiko is an American singer in the R&B category. Ninie's favorite song is called "The Worst."
Ninie likes to listen to a lot of pop, R&B and hip-hop songs.
Ninie is not sure what she wants to be when she grows up, but she enjoys science and hopes to pursue a career in that field.
