My favorite color is purple, so when I learned the word violet or mauve in French, I was able to describe the purple flowers that I found on one of my walks this week. "Les fleurs sont violettes" means "The flowers are purple."
The waves crashing on the shore of the beaches of Ceuta were incredible! We were able to take some great pictures. When I travel to a new beach, one of my favorite things to do is write the name of the place and the year in the sand and take a picture!
