To get to Cueta, Spain, we had to travel by train and by grand taxi. A grand taxi is a van that can carry six passengers. It cost about $12 to ride the train to Tangier. There, we paid $10 to take a one-hour grand taxi ride to the border of Spain.
Now I can add Ceuta, Spain to the list of places I have been to! I also traveled to Spain last year, but I took a plane to get there. On that trip, I visited Sevilla and Cadiz.
This week, in my home city of Rabat, I got around by tram and by small taxi.
Ceuta, of course! I heard lots of Spanish being spoken, saw the old walls of the city and ate tapas, small dishes unique to Spain.
I am excited because next week I will be traveling to Casablanca, Chefchaouen and Tangier. My dad and brother are coming to visit me! I want to show them the north of Morocco...stay tuned!
