Travel News

Faculdade de Letras (Faculty of Humanities) at the University of Lisbon is full of small courtyards and cozy cafes. Sometimes students practice music, talk, or just hang out outside. It’s fun to watch groups singing or dancing after a long day. Walking around campus makes me feel like learning isn’t just in class, but also all around me, in the people, the activities, and the atmosphere.

Another place that stood out to me this week was a Russian Orthodox church I visited. I’m Orthodox myself, so it was meaningful to attend a service there. The church was filled with icons, candles, and chanting, and it felt like a peaceful place in the middle of the city.

Other Travel News from this week:

I’ve started exploring more of Lisbon. The streets are narrow, colorful, and feel very homey, kind of like Italy in that way. Small shops, cafes, and restaurants line the streets, and people walk around everywhere. It’s exciting to be in a city where history and daily life mix together, and it’s even better when I can practice Portuguese while I explore.
