Hello, my future travelers! I’ve been thinking about the quote above a lot lately as I pack up to go home on December 13th. It feels like a bittersweet dream. I’m happy to see my family again and I am so grateful for this experience, but it feels weird saying I’m “going home” when it feels like I already am home, here in Colombia. They’re both my homes. I’m holding this quote close as it assures me that this weird sensation is just the natural response to the wonderful opportunity of living in another place. I was so warmly received that I have a whole new family and home here with my Colombian friends. I’m also so happy to have been able to share this journey with all of you. Helping bring the world to your classroom brought happiness to my heart. I hope you all go to Colombia, or the country of your choice, someday so that you can have a life-changing experience of your own!
