It was actually my first time riding a subway, so that was a really interesting experience! It was a lot of fun, but also really convenient for getting around, especially in London. Subways run very frequently, as well as buses. I really love the public transportation here because it is cheap, easy to access and comes in handy when solo traveling.
This would definitely have to be London as a whole. It is such a gorgeous city with so much to do. To dwindle it down within London, I would have to say my favourite place I visited would have to be Buckingham Palace. The palace is so big and gorgeous! There is so much gold everywhere, which makes it amazing to take beautiful pictures at. There are U.K. flags everywhere, the grass is so green and lush, and there are the flowers that I mentioned earlier. There is also a large path where you can walk and trees beautifully line the path. It is such an open place, which was surprising to me since the monarch resides in there. It definitely was the highlight of my trip, other than my comedy show.
I wanted to share some of the unexpected moments that can happen while traveling. When we headed to the airport for our flight back to Belfast, we arrived about two hours early, happy that we would not have to wait too long. We went through security, got food, and sat down to eat. After about an hour, we checked the flight list again, realising that our flight was delayed about two hours. This is the reality of flying, meaning you have to be flexible and understand that things do not always go as planned.
