It was actually really cool to see this pair because, as Wendell explained to me, these types of birds only travel with their mate, so you never really see just one by itself!
Because it was testing season for me, I didn't really get the chance to catch up on some other nature news. I'll have to keep an eye out for our Field Note next week!
