In fact, while I am writing this logbook, Hamilton is playing on our television!
When I am in school, reading for pleasure goes out the window, as watching films and television shows take priority in the few moments of free time I have. As such, the only reading I have done this week has been for school, including an article about tennis for my sports class and various excerpts written by directors and playwrights for my cinema class.
Admittedly, I am not a big gamer. So, the most "gaming" I do includes the New York Times games (such as Wordle and Connections), as well as the mini-games LinkedIn offers. I also am not the sporty type, as one might be able to assume based on my past as a theater kid. I do try to get to the gym three or four times a week, however.
Overall, this week has been pretty average in the grand scheme of my routine abroad. For my Theatre Immersion class, we see one show per week, so on Tuesday we attended a performance of Bloodsport: After Helen of Troy, which was inspired by the Greek myth(s) surrounding Helen of Troy after the Trojan War. Its modern setting resulted in a contemporary play that offered many important themes relevant to today's society regarding a woman's autonomy and a man's expectations.
