Environmentally, biking and using public transport are great alternatives to driving cars, especially in a crowded city like Kyoto. The city has made it easy and convenient to avoid driving by building a public system that’s not just reliable, but enjoyable too. It’s pretty inspiring, and it makes me wonder how we could improve transportation systems back in the U.S. to make them more like this.
