Travel News

It's those simple moments, like spending your day in the library with other students. Something I have found super cool here is that my university in Paris is home to just political science students. Back home, I see students from varied majors like physics and art. Here, it is a comforting feeling to take a small glance at others' laptops and see that we are all on the same boat. I never see a calculator around... which is how I know I'm in a safe place.

Other Travel News from this week:

My trip to London was short but cool. There's a train that takes you directly from Paris to London, and it goes underwater. It was interesting to compare how these two capitals and their residents differ. For example, in London, people appear to be always in a rush, while in Paris, it is part of the routine to stop, take a coffee, and look at the streets. In Paris, you will see many people smoking, while on my trip to London, I saw only one person smoking. It is amazing how you always see differences from city to city. How people behave, talk and even walk is framed by the people and culture that surround them.
