Looking back at all the memories I have of this incredible place fills my heart with happiness. Every moment was exceptional, the good and the bad.
I truly feel that this experience has prepared me for life. I lived in a place without my family or my typical support system. I made close friends here, which is possible. Home is really what you make it. I made this place my home, and I loved every minute of it!
One of my biggest dreams is to travel to every single country in the world. After four months of living in Spain, I am much closer to that goal now. I feel like this experience has prepared me for future travel, as the path is set for me to move along my journey to explore. With truth and cherished words, Madrid, thank you for all you have done for me. My heart has a special place that you will always hold!
Finally, I want to say thank you for following along my journey this semester! I hope you learned a lot about Spain, and hope that you will consider studying abroad in the future, too.
