Sitges is considered the most welcoming city to the LGBTQ+ community in the world, and this festival continues that loyalty, inviting all kinds of people to enjoy horror and sci-fi films. The parade itself is also a representation of identity and being able to dress up without judgment, and be shown throughout the town, and be cheered for even when you may look scary!
