We just had a Beaver Moon this last week, and it was HUGE! There's little to no light pollution out here in the desert, so stargazing and moon-gazing are phenomenal. We've had some very clear nights viewing the Milky Way Galaxy, too.
A neighbor boy was herding a family of donkeys along our street. When one stubbornly wouldn't move along I snapped a quick photo of the everyday occurance.
The anthill colonies out here are HUGE! The prevalent structures dot the desert landscape and can be well over 8 ft tall! I pass many of them whenever I journey outside of the village.
During the school season, which has just started, children do homework at night when it has gotten cooler.
