Hello for the last time! I hope that you have really enjoyed getting to know Switzerland a bit more over the past few weeks. Through my time here, I have learned so much: I have worked on my language skills; made friends from all over the world; and seen the natural wonders of this country. The sight of snow-covered mountains will always be one of my favorite memories.
As we end our time together, I wanted to share this quote that expresses the way I feel about traveling:
"It seems that the more places I see and experience, the bigger I realize the world to be. The more I become aware of, the more I realize how relatively little I know of it, how many places I have still to go, how much more there is to learn” -Anthony Bourdain
The more places that I see in the world, the more I realize that there are hundreds of other countries to see, mountains to climb, and meals to share. It can be overwhelming, thinking about all the possibilities that travel has to offer.
At the same time, it is amazing how much you can learn from just one experience! Not only about another culture, but about yourself as well.
Just remember that the possibility of travel is accessible to you, too! There will be so many opportunities for you to travel as you go through your schooling.
