I cannot believe that I am already saying goodbye to you all. I really, really hope that you enjoyed my trip as much as I did! Not only that, I hope that you learned something along the way as well. South Africa might be several thousands of miles away from where you are, but I hope that you can see that it really isn't all that different. The challenges faced by kids in South Africa may not be the same as for you in the United States, but the way they talk, laugh, make friends and even spend time with their families is just the same.
I truly never thought that I would get a chance to experience something like this when I was growing up. I used to watch the National Geographic channel and dream about traveling to new countries and seeing all of their cool animals. I am proof that anything is possible. You have no idea what the future holds. Just always remember to follow your dreams. Even if your dreams change, because trust me they will likely change, always chase after them.
Life is amazing and if you work really hard towards something and do the best you can, you will succeed.
