My journey with Reach the World is coming to an end, but my experience in Argentina is going to continue until the end of December. I have really enjoyed sharing stories, pictures and information with your class. It was especially fun to have a video chat with all of you. You all had great questions about life in Argentina. I hope that you will stay curious!
I will continue my biology research here for the next few months. I’ve been learning a lot about the animals that live in the intertidal here. When I go back to California, I am looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned with my friends and co-workers there.
I’m also glad that I’ve been able to practice and improve my Spanish here. I love this language, and the more I learn, the more I want to learn! Did you know that Spanish is the second most commonly spoken language in the U.S.A? I’m glad that I’ll be able to communicate in Spanish with people when I get home, too.
To me, traveling means meeting new people, learning about new traditions, and trying new things. Thanks for letting me share my adventures in Argentina with you. Traveling in different countries is an amazing opportunity, but you can also travel in your own country, or even in your own city. I hope you are all inspired to travel, too!
