I think night time is a good time to be home. I like to be in my warm bed with lots of blankets! But in Sweden, people like to go into the city at night. Because so many people walk, Sweden has very pretty lights. These lights are for the people who walk around. Instead of just street lamps, they have strings of lights and fountain lights.
I thought this was very strange. It was like they celebrated Christmas all year! But it is also very beautiful. Even though it is different, that's okay. I'm glad Sweden is different from the U.S. That way, I got to have fun adventures and see pretty lights. It was so unexpected and one of the parts of my travel that I won't soon forget.
