After having such a wonderful experience in Costa Rica, I often tell my friends, "I cannot wait to share this unique memory with all of my students." Reflecting on and appreciating my experiences would not be the same if I could not share them with each one of you. When I sit down to write articles for your class, it makes me think about the special things happening here. I remember what it was like to be your age, and I'm impressed by the quantity and quality of questions you all ask.
Being curious and speaking up when you have questions is important. You all have done an excellent job sharing your Halloween costumes, Thanksgiving plans, wishes for Santa, hobbies and end-of-the-school-year activities. Thank you all for your kindness and participation. I hope to visit the class when I return from Costa Rica. And I hope that some day, you can all take part in an experience like this, too, in person!
