This past few weeks, I've had the opportunity to see more of Germany, and took a weekend trip to Prague in the Czech Republic. I've gotten closer with more students from my program and settled in.
Berlin is home to 3.9 million people, with an estimated 27% of them being immigrants. A true metropolitan environment, there are many ways in which immigrants move here and make a life.
A great way to get to know someone is to experience eating their cultural foods with them. In a new city, in a new country and on a new continent, food brings me closer to new people and cultures.
