Logbooks

This week marks the halfway point in my 10 month stay in Korea! I came here in August of 2025 and will be here until June of 2026.

Journals

Learning jeong in Korea, I discovered that peace is practiced slowly — through small acts, shared meals and everyday moments rather than through big ideas.

Field Notes

This post explores Korean food as an expression of care, history and place, showing how rice-centered meals, banchan, and kimchi, connect food-preservation, the environment and communal eating.

Albums

This album features photos from Jeju Island, a subtropical island south of the Korean Peninsula known for its tangerines, tradition of haenyeo women divers and coastal landscapes.
