Hi everyone! My name is Colin, and I have a pretty cool job: I help take care of the planet while people travel the world. I work at a company called Indagare, where my team focuses on protecting nature, supporting local communities, and making sure travel does more good than harm. That means thinking about animals, people, and places, and how they’re all connected.
I’ve loved traveling ever since I was little. My dad was in the Navy, so we had to move around every couple of years, from the beach town of San Diego to our nation’s capital in Washington D.C. It gave me the travel bug, and now I’ve made it a goal to see as much of the world as I can in my life.
I’ve loved wildlife since I was a little kid, and I’ve always especially loved cats. Sorry to all the dog-people out there, but cats have the perfect balance of being rascals when they want to be, and totally independent mysteries the next moment. So a lot of my travel comes down to finding out where I can see unique wildlife, and especially unique cats!
Over the next few weeks, I’m going to be sharing a special adventure with you.
