Living in a new country for almost half a year is full of experiences that's hard to get at home. You get to experience and learn so many things, from both good and bad moments. I remember being lost in a train station about four separate times! Each moment taught me how to navigate things on my own, especially when I wasn't fluent in the language. In addition to learning lessons, I was able to experience a lot with people similar to me. Unlike back in America, I was able to meet lots pf people who wanted to learn and explore Japan, all in one place. Through my study abroad in Japan, I've met so many lifelong friends from America, Japan and even Australia! Once again, for its lessons, memories, and people, studying abroad is an unforgettable experience.
There is a whole world of people who are waiting for you, some on the other side of the globe and some by your side. If you ever decide to travel the world to study for just a little while, you'll have some help. From advisors to study abroad alumni who’ve traveled before, there are many people who are happy to answer any questions you have! Make sure to always find these chances to talk to these people. I will be honest, studying abroad can be quite expensive, however, that doesn’t mean that it’s impossible.
